What’s included in the kitchenettes (Cabin 1-8)?

Kitchenettes include kitchen sink, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, Keurig coffee maker, cups, mugs, wine glasses, plates, bowls, silverware, and wine opener.

What’s included in the kitchen (Cedar Cabin)?

Cedar Cabin has a full kitchen which is ONLY available for Cedar Cabin guests. Kitchen includes sinks, 2-ovens, 8-burners, 2-refrigerator/freezers, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, 2-drip coffee makers, 2-toasters, electric kettle, pots, pans, cooking utensils, cups, mugs, wine glasses, plates, bowls, silverware, and wine openers.

Do you have outdoor grills?

Yes, we have 3-propane grills and 1-large charcoal grill.

Do you have indoor fireplaces?

Yes, Cabins 1-7 have gas fireplaces and Cedar Cabin has a wood-burning stove (bring your own firewood or you can buy it at the McCloud Market).

Do you have outdoor fire pits?

No, we do not have fire pits nor do we allow guests to bring their own. Due to the county regulations, we are not allowed to have outdoor fires at our lodge.

Do you have a pool or hot tub?

No, we do not have a pool or a hot tub.

Do you have EV charging stations?

No, we do not have EV charging stations, nor do we allow guests to use an extension cord to charge their vehicles at our property.

Do you have a front desk and how do I check-in?

No, we do not have a front desk. We are a contactless, check-in and check-out lodge. You will be sent check-in details via the online travel agency you booked with or via email and text message.

Do you have a guest laundry room?

No, we do not have guest laundry. Guests use nearby Mt Shasta Laundromat.

How do I check road conditions?

You can check road conditions at the California Department of Transportation Map.

How do you handle snow removal?

McCloud clears public roads, our parking lot is plowed, and walkways are shoveled. We also provide shovels and ice-melt for guest use.
